Reading the market

Over the last ten years ILM Capital has successfully navigated some of the most turbulent times in UK real estate history, identifying value in both the residential and commercial sectors. From the aftermath of the 2008 crisis when it was possible to acquire substantial volumes of good quality high yielding assets, to the COVID crisis of 2020 when defensive action became the priority, we have consistently used our contacts, experience and technical knowledge to help our clients improve their investment performance.

For development opportunities, we work with a range of main contractors, architects and project managers and have delivered dozens of profitable planning and construction projects across the UK. With accounting, management and regulatory services under one roof, and an ability to arrange funding when required, we can substantially improve transaction management and profitability outcomes for our clients.

 

Our asset selection focus has been on commercial and mixed-use real estate valued at between £100,000 and £5 million in the south east of England. To date, this sector has provided higher yields compared to the stand-alone residential market. We believe that despite continuously fluctuating markets this focus will offer investors attractive opportunities. We continue to identify real estate assets that have underlying value in constantly evolving markets.
